Downtown Wilmington - There’s so much to do downtown! You could spend an entire day in the Cotton Exchange, making your way through the unique shops, meeting the friendly business owners, and enjoying some excellent cuisine. Or you could take a stroll down River Walk, located right by the Cape Fear River and dine at one of the many restaurants that overlook the water. Cape Fear Community College is also located downtown, as are tons of great places to shop and dine. There’s even a farmer’s market every weekend on Water Street!
